Q. Can I have a trial session before I join?

R. As our playgroup runs on pay as you go basis, we do not offer a trial session.

Q. Is your playgroup for different levels of Mandarin? Can my child attend the sessions even though I have no Chinese language background?

R. This is a playgroup designed for children and their parents with different levels of and exposure to Mandarin. We learn through social interaction and play. Engagement and enjoyment are the keys here for all language learners, especially for the beginners. This playgroup is for you if you are interested in or curious about Mandarin and Chinese culture, and would like your little one to be aware of or keep up with the language and the culture in a fun and supportive way with other families like yours!

Q. What is the youngest age at which a toddler can join your playgroup?

R. This is a playgroup geared for ages 6 months to 4 years old. Siblings are also welcome to come and play!

Q. Do I have to stay with my child throughout the session?

R. We expect at least one adult to stay with the child throughout the session not only because of the health and safely reason, but that we can see so much benefits for the child to have the support from the people close to him/her.

Q. What if I have to cancel my session?

R. We believe that when your children are working on a language, progress can be made respectively only when the consistency in the attendance is there. We highly encourage our families to try their best to keep up with the sessions every fortnight. In the case that you really have to cancel a session that you have confirmed with us, please do let us know as soon as possible as it is important for our preparation process.

Q. How can I pay for the sessions?

R. Payment can be made in cash when you arrive at the Centre.

Q. Is the playgroup venue close to public transportation/is there any parking space?

R. The venue is close to public transportation which makes it very easy for you to find us. The venue offers a number of parking spaces. If you require a parking space on the day, please let us know when you confirm your session with us.

Q. Is there anything I can do if I am not happy with the session?

R. Although this never happened, if you are unhappy, it is essential that you talk to the teacher as soon as possible. Please email info@singsingmandarin.co.uk for suggestions.
